Merry Christmas from GG and Papa. GG asked the Ag Dept. at Ruston High School, where she teaches, if they would make this bookcase for me. They constructed it. GG sanded and painted it. On the left side (which you cannot see) it has my name written vertically. This is a dollhouse bookcase that I will be able to use for a very long time.

Merry Christmas Eve. Momma, Daddy, Papa, GG and I went out to Glen and Mellie Jo's for Christmas Eve celebration. Mellie Jo is my 4th cousin on my momma's side.

The tree in the background is from Aunt Cathy and Uncle Paul. It is a pink pre-lit tree with all kinds of ornaments on it. It is a tree that I will have for ever and ever.

Aunt Cathy and Uncle Paul came down this weekend because they will not be able to make it for Christmas. They brought me all kinds of clothes and shoes. Thank you both so much.

Dr. Hussein released me from the hospital this evening. He says I will be fine.
We went home and packed for Baton Rouge and headed out. We will be spending Thanksgiving with PePe and MiMi.
GeGe is coming home tonight from New York. Papa is in Pennsylvania visiting his Aunt. She turned 70 and they had a surprise party for her. I will get to see them when we get back Sunday.

Momma and Daddy had to have me in Shreveport, by 6:00 this morning for my procedure.
Dr. Hussein gave me some medicine that made me really sleepy. He checked my stomach and found I have a hiatal hernia. It has probably been there since birth. This also causes my reflux. He says the hiatal hernia will eventually go away. He also did a colonoscopy and all was fine. Since he put me on Neocate formula, I have been doing better.
I had to stay in the hospital overnight to make sure there were no complications.
Momma and Daddy took turns staying with me.
Aunt Cindy came up the hospital and stayed for awhile.

Today, Momma and GeGe took me to see Dr. Sunny Hussain, a Pediatric Gastroenterologist in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He immediately took me off of Nutramegen and put me on Neocate. He schedule a procedure for next Tuesday.

Today was Press Day at Louisiana Tech University. Momma and Daddy took me so I could have my picture made with Ross and Cade, my "other uncles".

Today I was christened. Deacon Don Musso presided over the christening. Aunt Jenny is my Godmother and Matthew Laborde is my Godfather. I was christened at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. My christening dress belongs to MeMe's family. My Great Uncle Mike was the first to wear it at his christening. All of Daddy's family wore it.

Today was my first outing. In this picture is GG, MiMi, Merrick (daddy's godmother), Daddy, Momma and me. We all went to lunch at Sundown West and sat outside on the patio. I so enjoyed my outing with my family.

This fabulous picture was taken outside in Pappa and GG's backyard when I was five days old. Aunt Deborah, Makenzie and Mallory gave me this headpiece. I just loved it. I am in momma's lap on a blanket that Aunt Cathy gave me. It is so soft. I love being outdoors.

Momma and Daddy brought me home from the hospital today.
We will be living with Papa and GG until daddy and momma finish school.
MeMe, Pepa' and Cameron along with Papa, GG, Hope and Biscuits were there to welcome me home. As you can see from the picture, Hope was very curious about me. She jumped right up on the bed and got as close to me as she could. It was so sweet. Biscuits was not as curious right at first. She ignored me for the most part.
So glad to be home!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. I was born today, June 3, 2009. I weigh 7 pounds 2 ounces and I am 20 inches long. Dr. McWhorter delivered me with the help of momma and daddy of course.

So many people were standing out in the hall waiting on my arrival......

GG (Pappa was on his way), MeMe and Pepe', Linda (Pops was on his way on his motorcycle) Uncle Brian, Aunt Jenny, Uncle Cameron, Great Grandmother, Great Uncle James and Great Aunt Miki, Casey (one of momma's good friends), Hillery (momma's cousin and good friend), Ross (daddy's good friend and quarterback for LATech), Cade (daddy's good friend and punter for LATech, Melody (mom's boss). Great Aunt Cindy, Cathy and Deborah were calling GG checking on the progress of my delivery. God has blessed me with a loving family and extended family.
