Today is my birthday. I am 1. At 5:13, momma and GG sang Happy Birthday to me. Momma made me a small cake. When daddy got home from work, I blew out my candle and everyone sang again.
Aunt Cathy sent me this cute, soft, light green frog. If you press it's foot, it will sway side to side and plays a lullaby. There were balloons attached to the bag. GG said I was more interested in the balloons than the frog. Thank you Aunt Cathy.

Pepe' came up from Baton Rouge to pick up me and momma so momma would not have to drive with me all by herself. We will be leaving for the beach in Florida tomorrow. Daddy just started a new job and was not able to take any vacation time.

Daddy took me to see Dr. Neal (ENT) for my checkup. My ears are clear and I do not have to go back to him for 6 months!!! Yay.
Momma and I went for a long walk today. I wore my sunglasses and my sun hat. Can't start too early being protective of my skin. Thanks mom.

Momma and Daddy went to Memphis, Tennessee this weekend for Memphis In May. MiMi and Pepe' are here for the weekend.
GG, Pappa, MiMi, Pepe' and I all went to eat at Dawg House last night (Friday). I was very well behaved.
Today (Saturday) the weather was a little rainy so we stayed inside and I stayed in my pajamas all day. MiMi and Pepe' bought me the cutest hat. I wore it during the Kentucky Derby.

Today we went to our cousin, Hillery Colvin's wedding. Momma was a bridesmaid. The weather was really bad this morning, but turned out to be a beautiful evening for her wedding.

My ear has cleared up and I do not have to have tubes again. Yay!
Dr. Neal's nurse called momma today and let her know that I have 2 different types of organisms growing that are causing me to continue to have drainage and fever from time to time. They took me off the anitibiotic I have been taking for about 5 days and gave me a new one. We started it today. It is flavored with pineapple flavor.
I am trying more and more to get up and start walking. I am not standing by myself yet, but I want to walk so bad.

Daddy, Momma and I went to Kaleb's 7th birthday party at Excalibur in West Monroe. We had so much fun. Daddy, momma, Uncle Brian and GG played games to win tickets. With the tickets, they bought me a pink fuzzy wuzzy. When I get some pictures, I will post them.
Momma had a wedding shower to go to for Hillery and Daddy had to go to work, so Papa and GG were in charge.

Hooray..Pepe and MiMi are coming to stay the weekend.
I have been teething my second tooth, which is all the way through now, for about the last 2 weeks. I was not sleeping very well, but for the last couple of nights I have slept all night and my appetite is better.
Momma took me to Dr. Neal for my checkup. The tube in my right ear is blocked. Momma and Daddy have to use peroxide and ear medicine to clear it up. If it is not clear by next Thursday, Dr. Neal said he will have to remove the tube and put a new one in. Ugh!!
I am pulling up on everything now and walking pretty good (more steady) with help.

Momma, Daddy, GG and I went to Monroe today, Papa had to work.
We went to Pecanland Mall. Daddy bought two caps and momma bought a pair of shoes. We left the mall and went to Logan's for lunch. Their lunch ended up being free because they took so long to get it ready.
Afterwards, daddy dropped momma and GG off at Hobby Lobby. GG neeeded to get some picture frames. When they got back to the truck, I was asleep.
We had a great time.

Today is Easter Sunday. Daddy, Momma and I went to church with Papa and GG. They attend First Baptist Church in Arcadia. I wore my yellow Easter dress that GG and Papa gave me. I fell asleep on the way and slept almost the whole service.
After Church we went back home. Uncle Brian, Amanda and the kids came over for lunch and then they hunted Easter eggs.

Happy Easter everyone. Today Daddy, Momma and I went to church with Papa and GG in Arcadia. I slept almost the whole time. After church we came home for lunch. Uncle Brian, Amanda and the kids came over. We had ham, potatoe puff, green bean casserole, deviled eggs and rolls. GG also made lemon icebox pie and bananna pudding for dessert.
There was an egg hunt after lunch in the front yard.

Today is Great-Grandmother's birthday. She is 74. GG and I went over and took her a birthday card and an Easter Lily as her present.

Pepe and MiMi got their webcam up and running today. They could hear and see us but we could not hear them so we talked to one another over the phone. Hopefully, we will have it working by tomorrow.

Uncle James, Aunt Miki, Papa and GG are taking great-grandmother out to dinner for her birthday.

Momma and I went to Hillery's engagement party at Bob and Diane's (our cousins). Momma put me in the swing and I had so much fun.

Momma was trying to put my sandles on and as you can see she was chasing me down to get it done.

Here we are 7:00 a.m. at Green Clinic Surgical Hospital getting ready for my surgery. Dr. Neal is going to put tubes in my ears. They even have hospital gowns for babies.

Daddy, Momma, MiMi and GG were all with me.

Sugery only took about 20 minutes. I was not very happy coming out of the anethesia. Dr. Neal finally let me go home about 10:00. We all pray that the tubes will help me feel so much better.

The last few days have been crazy. I went back to the doctor on Friday, March 5, because momma was concerned about my cough. Dr. Wood gave me some cough medicine and I do not like the taste of it.
I did not eat much or drink much all weekend and ended up getting dehydrated. Daddy and momma took me to the emergency room. They could not get the needle in my arm, but found a vein in my right hand. They had to draw a little blood and then had to give me fluids through the IV.
We ended up getting to go home around 8:00. The fluids perked me up some, but I am so hungry and the doctor said I could not have milk for 48 hours but I do get to eat some food and drink pedialite.

I went back to see Dr. Neal today. Fortunately he had an opening. I have conjunctivitis, ear infection and fluid in my ears. He gave momma eye drops to put in the corner of my eyes 3 times a day. He scheduled an appointment for me to have tubes next Thursday, March 11.

It has been a few days since last update.
I woke up this morning very fussy at around 3:00 and stayed up the rest of the night on in to this morning.
Momma took me back to the doctor today. I have fluid in my ears, ear infection and conjunctivitis. Dr. Neal gave momma some eye drops which she has to put in the corner of my eyes three times a day.
I am scheduled for tubes next Thursday, March 11. GG will be taking off work and MiMi is coming up from Baton Rouge.

Still working on my crawling skills.
Momma was cleaning my face after lunch today and noticed that one tooth is breaking through my gums. She and daddy were pretty sure I have been teething for a while now. Well they were right!!

Momma hosted a wedding shower for Hillery Colvin this afternoon. She is our cousin.
While she was gone, GG took me for a walk and then we sat outside on a pallet. Hope and Biscuits were with us too and they had fun playing chase.
Daddy went to work. When momma got back home, she went for a run. Before she left I was sitting on a pallet in the living room and I started crawling!!!!! I didn't crawl very far, but I am on the move.

Today is momma's birthday. Happy Birthday Momma. She is 24 years old. Daddy is taking her out to dinner tonight and I am staying with Papa and GG.

I had a doctor's appointment today with the ENT (Dr. Neal). He checked my ears. They are not infected but they do have fluid on them. I have to have blood test next week to see if I will have to have tubes put in my ears.

Here I am with momma on Friday morning. As you can see it snowed about 3 inches last night and it is still snowing. It is so pretty.

When daddy gets off work today we are heading down to Baton Rouge to see MiMi and Pepe' for the weekend.

It is snowing!!!!! The weather man says we are suppose to get 2 to 4 inches. GG is out of school for tomorrow so she will get to stay home with me until we leave for Baton Rouge to see Pepe' and MiMi.
We went back to Dr. Wood so he could check my ears. They are still red so we had to make an appointment to see an ENT at Green Clinic.

Who Dat? Go Saints. Momma, Daddy and I went to the store to buy goodies for tonight's Super Bowl. While there, one lady had to have her picture made with me so she could send it to her son in south Louisiana. I had on my Drew Bres onesie, blue jeans, gold shoes and my bow.
Saints beat Colts 31-17. First time ever for the New Orleans Saints. They have been around for 44 years and they won the 44th Super Bowl.

GeGe picked me up around 4:00.

My proofs of the pictures we took last week came in. Momma was so excited. She put me in my walker in the kitchen while she looked through the pictures. Biscuits and Hope were playing and they made me laugh and laugh and I started chasing them in my walker. Really just scooting around.

Pepe', MiMi and Uncle Cameron came to Ruston yesterday to spend the weekend with us. I love Pepe', MiMi and Uncle Cameron. I am happy they are here, have not seen them since New Years.
This morning, I reached out like I was going to crawl and did not flop on my tummy. Instead, I sat back up. Momma said that was the first time I did that.
MiMi went to the store this morning and bought me a whole bunch of the mixed vegetables and mixed fruits.
It is very cold outside today and I have stayed in my pajamas all day.

I did sleep all night last night. Momma and daddy needed the rest.

Momma took me to doctor today. Dr. Wood said I have another ear infection. This one is bad. That is why I have been so fussy.
He prescribed an antibiotic that should clear up my ears and also help with the cough. He said I have had the cough way too long. I go back in 2 weeks for a checkup.

Today is my Great Uncle James' birthday. He is 40 years old.

My Uncle Brian left for work today. He works for oil company 7 days on 7 days off in Texas. I hope to get to see him next week when he gets back.

I had cereal and peas for supper tonight. Momma stood up and fed me while she was holding me. Everytime she sat down I got fussy.

I had 5 1/2 ounces of formula around 7:45 and went to sleep. Momma put me to bed in my nap nanny. I am glad she did, it helped me sleep better through the night.

Daddy, momma and I had family pictures made today. We went to Quitman. They should be available to see on line in a couple of days.
I am still fussy. Mom, Dad and GG hope it is just my teeth trying to come in.
GG fed me rice and squash for supper tonight. It was good. Momma bought me a new sippy bottle and I like this one. The spout feels better on my gums than the cup. Momma put a wet baby rag in the freezer and after supper I used it on my teeth. It really feels good.
Momma is going to call the doctor tomorrow and see if we can go see him about my cough.

Well, I am running a low grade temperature today. I have not been very hungry and I have started drooling again. Momma thinks I might be teething. She gave me a teething ring that had been in the freezer and it felt so good.

Well, we think we know what my rash was...Roseola. It comes from having a very high fever. It usually makes an appearance about 1 to 2 days after the fever and lasts about 2 days. That is what mine did.

My rash is gone. I feel so much better. Today is Martin Luther King's birthday and GG is off so I stayed home with her while daddy and momma went to work.

The rash seems to be going away. I am feeling much better. I am trying so hard to crawl but haven't quite managed it yet. I love to scoot and I am pretty good at that.

GG took pictures of the rash on my back and stomach and took them to the pharmacist. She said momma and daddy could give me about 1/2 teaspoon of benadryl to help with the rash and itch. So they started giving me that. It did help with the itching but the rash is still here.

Well, my rash seems to be getting worse. It is all over my back, stomach, neck and part of my face. It does itch some. I keep trying to rub my face on momma and daddy, but they won't let me. Needless to say, I am a little fussy.

I am much, much better today. I had a low grade temperature this morning, but it went away and did not come back. This afternoon momma noticed I had what looked like a rash on my stomach and back. GG thinks it might be a heat rash from when I had the high fever.

I am still running fever, but it is better. GG took 1/2 day off from school and took care of me while daddy went to work and momma went to class.
My fever went back up this evening. It was 104. Daddy, Momma and GG took me to the ER. They immediately gave me a double dose of tylenol and motrin. I did not like it at all. Then they did an xray, because I had fever and a cough. It came back clear. They did a urine test and blood test. Everything came back normal. The doctor said I had a fever virus. Momma and Daddy had to give me tylenol and motrin every 3 to 4 hours and were to keep checking my temperature.
